Active Floor is an interactive floor where you use your feet to navigate and play the different learning games. We have focused on movement since day one, and it is therefore the primary element in all our games. By working with movement and gamifcation you’ll get your students’ attention in a brand new and exciting way, and ensure their complete focus in every single class.

With Active Floor the pupils are provided equals access to an auditory, visual, tactile and kinaesthetic learning. At the same time it also stimulates greater interactivity and promotes interdisciplinary teaching with a focus on collaboration.

The various learning games in mathematics, language and natural science provide the teachers with an excellent opportunity to integrate exercise and enjoyment for both adults and children.

Use Active Floor in treatment
Active Floor can be used both directly and indirectly in treatment. In rehabilitation, Active Floor can serve as an enjoyable element in the various exercises. The interdisciplinary personnel can additionally use Active Floor indirectly in treatment, since usage of the floor gives them an opportunity to observe the patients in a different setting that is isolated from the hospital bed.

Utilise the waiting time for patients and relatives
Active Floor has been developed for all age groups, and is therefore ideal for patients and relatives in the event of having to deal with the waiting time that might occur during a hospital stay. At the same time Active Floor can serve as a space where patients and their families can socialize and meet families from other departments and wards and exchange experiences. The academically relevant games can also serve as teaching material to chronically sick children, who have problems following the teaching at their regular school.
